Bio

​

G. Croci is a Viola performer with a 25 years long career all over the world as a chamber musician (Quartetto Bernini, Sestetto Leonardo). In these years he performed in the most important Theatres and Festivals in Europe, USA, Latin America, Middle East and China.

​

He is a specialized Contemporary Music performer (Ensemble Algoritmo, Ensemble Prometeo, PMCE) being invited to play in the most important Contemporary Music Festivals in Europe. He was as well Guest Principal Viola in many orchestras in Italy (Teatro La Fenice, Venice; Teatro di San Carlo, Naples).

He taught Viola in Conservatory in Sassari, Teramo and - since 2018 - in Turin and is invited every year in many Master Classes.

​

Between al these experiences an important part of his work was devoted to Film Music production as a performer. He worked together with Ennio Morricone many times and had several close encounters with Soundtrack Composers, recording many Original Soundtracks in orchestra as well as a soloist. At the same time his experience as arranger grew year by year making tons of String Quartet arrangements which were performed regularly in his Chamber Musician activity.

 

He decided, some years ago, it was time to start producing his own music making use of all the high-level performing experiences he was involved in all this time.
